Pet Portraits

Your pet is the cutest, smartest, goodest boy (or girl) that ever lived! They clearly deserve their very own portrait as a way to honour their greatness.

I'm currently offering watercolour portraits of your best friend as a forever keepsake. I use archival quality watercolour paints on Arches cotton rag paper for a bright portrait with loads of personality. I can add accessories or draw a more traditional portrait, the choice is yours.

PRICE LIST FOR JUST THE PAINTING:

• SMALL: 5x7 = $100 CAD
• MEDIUM: 8x10 = $175 CAD
• LARGE: 11x14 = $300 CAD

All prices are in Canadian dollars and don't include applicable taxes or shipping costs.

Regular portraits come unmatted and unframed.

NEW!! MAT WITH ADDED DRAWING:

You can also add a mat to your painting that includes an extra drawing in coloured pencil. Add your pet's favourite snack, toy or some other item that has special meaning for you and your bestie. Mats are premium archival quality and museum grade.

PRICE LIST FOR PAINTING PLUS MAT:

• SMALL WITH MAT: 5x7 painting with 8x10 mat = $150
• MEDIUM WITH MAT: 8x10 painting with 11x14 mat = $250

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:

I create your pet portrait from the photo reference(s) you send. To get a great likeness in the finished portrait please ensure your photos are clear, brightly lit, high resolution and accurately depict your pet. For example a photo that is dark and heavily shadowed is difficult to work with. Send as many photos as you like but please let me know which is your favourite. 

TIME FRAME TO COMPLETE PORTRAIT:

The time it takes to complete your painting depends on how many I have booked at any given time. Generally it takes 6-8 weeks but I can rush a portrait for an extra fee.
