It's official! The Haliburton School of Art's summer course calendar has been released. I'll be teaching a week-long coloured pencil course that will run June 15-19. We'll touch on a broad range of topics and techniques so you end the week with a better understanding of just how incredible the humble coloured pencil can be.
Topics to be covered include:
- types of coloured pencils
- what kind of paper to use, and when
- techniques such a blending, layering, burnishing and cross-hatching
- how to use solvents to create washes
- how to mix coloured pencil with other mediums
And a lot more as well.
Plus you get to hang out in one of the most beautiful campuses in all of Ontario. What more could you ask for?
