A coloured pencil drawing of a duckling dressed like the Easter bunny and holding a painted egg

Happy Easter

So it doesn't really feel like Easter does it? While I bought myself a chocolate bunny and put a few decorations up in my studio to try and get into the spirit, quarantine Easter just isn't the same as normal Easter. I was suppose to go up to my sister's to help her hid eggs for my nephew's hunt but that had to be called off. No family dinner either this year. I was also lacking the necessary patience to wait in line at the grocery store to buy some Cadbury mini eggs this year (a personal fav). Now I'm worried they'll all be gone by the time I shop later this week. Boo hoo.

What I did do this afternoon was listen to Bach's St. Matthew's Passion from start to finish. It's something I've always wanted to do but never had the time before. What a beauty! I think I've discovered a new Easter tradition. One that doesn't involve a sugar high either.
