Digital Clip Art Terms of Use

Water In My Paint by Deidre Wicks

Terms of Use for Digital File Downloads

Personal Use and Small Scale Commercial License (Resale of up to 50 units)

Thank you for choosing my art, I really appreciate your support. I’m happy to make these digital art files available to all of you amazing crafters but there are some basic rules to follow:

  • All digital art files are for non-exclusive PERSONAL AND SMALL SCALE COMMERCIAL USE. This means you can use my digital illustration file(s) to adorn a product for RESELL such as greeting cards, mugs, t shirts, tote bags, pillows etc. up to a total of 50 units per product. YOU MAY NOT PRODUCE AND SELL A FILE AS AN ART PRINT. You must incorporate the file into a product or craft and not resell the image as is.
  • If you wish to sell more than 50 units of a product you must contact me and purchase a license with a larger resale limit.
  • You cannot resell the digital file(s) as clip art or as part of a physical or digital clip art collage. In other words you must incorporate this file into a product or craft and not resell the file as is.
  • Alteration to the digital file does not make it a new work and I still retain full copyright.
  • You CAN use my digital file(s) to have an item created by a 3rd party printer for personal use or for commercial use as long as you remain under the 50 unit limit.
  • You can use my file(s) in as many personal use projects as you like. Personal Use means you do not make money from the item you have created with my digital file(s).
  • You cannot use my art to promote anything that would be deemed hateful or hurtful to any person or group.
  • I retain full copyright over all of my illustrations. Purchase of the file(s) does not transfer any such rights to the purchaser.
  • You cannot share, transfer or otherwise make available your purchased file(s) to anyone else. You are purchasing the rights for YOUR use of the file(s), not extra friends or family.
  • I reserve the right to change these Terms of Use at anytime

Basically I ask that you respect my art and the time and energy I’ve spent producing these illustrations. Treat my work as you would like your own work to be treated.

If you happen to see my work on a product or a website (etc.) that you feel breaks any of the above terms of use I’d really appreciate your getting in touch with me. It goes without saying that I would keep any tips confidential.
